A litlle Bit o' E and J

Jeffery is learning to mow the lawn and he loves it.
Silly E pretending she is Mr. Potato Head.
E loves to swing, I just love it when she asks be to push her on the swing, I could even begin to try to say it how she says it.
E loves helping with anything. Here she is helping me shuck corn and make cookies.
E sure keeps us on our toes. She loves to get into anything she can like; toothpaste, painting her own toenails all by her self, KY gel and oil, icy hot, dish soap, just to name a few and some of these she actually tasted them. Oh My! I just have to say I am glad that we have a carpet shampooer, and let me just say have definitely use it. But she is just such a cute little girl, we just love her.

Wolve it!

J earned his wolve badge and he to get it he had to either carefully dig through the whip cream or wolve down the whip cream to get to it. We are so proud of him. Afterward they had some water games.

Birthday Time!

H turned 7! She is getting so big and such a sweet girl. She actually celebrated her birthday 3 times. Once while we were down and Grandpa and Grandma McPheters' house for Jill's wedding. The next was she had a small friend party the Saturday before her actaul birthday. Then on her birthday she had her birthday dinner, she chose homemade chinese food, and then we had a little family party with grandparents.

Wedding Fun

Jill and Vagner got married in Aug. This was our 3rd and final trip of the summer, I say summer because it's still summer, even though the kids are in school at the time. We are so happy for Jill and Vagner. We had an enjoyable to day, some more than others. E was teething and reck. K just had too much stimulation and told us that it was not a smiling day for him. Luckily my Dad came and got the two of them after the ring ceremony before the reception, and we were so glad it would have been a mess if they would have stayed. H loved the whole wedding thing, everyone about it. She actually got the boquet Jill threw, but sadly she wanted an adult to catch it so she gave it back to Jill and was given a corsage instead. H had such a long day that she started not feeling well just layed on my lap and actaully fell asleep.
J was quite the dancer. The music was quite upbeat and a few times a circle formed with 1 or 2 people in the center and the circle was cheering them on. One time we looked over and there J was with his cousin break dancing in the middle of the circle and the song that was on was "I'm Sexy and I Know It". Wow I didn't know Jeffery had that in him.

Summer Events

In June we were able to get E's hair in 2 pony tails (it didn't stay very long but we got it there for a little bit).
Our first trip of the summer was to meet our new niece/cousin and to attend her blessing. Each of the kids loved holding her and helping with her. Sad to say that Brad and J stayed home this visit.
H lost her first 2 teeth, they actually got got pulled but the dentist. Her new teeth were pretty much completely in behind them.
We had swimming lessons. What a great year for swimming lessons. Last year it was devastating for the kids they loved being in the pool and the water, but their head or face they didnt' want in or under and it was hard for them to relax. But this year we decided to private lessons with all 3 of them at the same time. It worked great! We ended up doing 2-2week sessions. They all now put their head and face in the water and H actually said it is fun. H and K jumped of the diving board and J kind of slid off the edge of the pool in the deep end. What GREAT progress!
Our second trip was to Utah for the 24th of July Pioneer Celebration. This Time Melissa, H, and E stayed home sick. But the Boys had fun. They went to This is the Place park and the Pioneer Day Parade.
J went to table rock with the scouts. We drove to the top and then hiked down and then visited the museum. He sure loved it, afterwards he told us that he wanted to be a geologist.
Daddy help E have some fun with Minnie. I just love it when little kids eat corn on the cob. E is sure loving it.
J and H's first day of school on Aug 7th.
