A Hole, Compared to a Half Blanket

H came downstairs and said she had her hole blanket. Grandma McPheters has made each one of the kids gorgious afghans, which they all love. H calls it her hole blanket because it has holes in it. I think she might have to make K another, he has attached himself to it, so who knows what it's going to look like soon. The other two never were really attached to anything imparticular. So who knows what happened with him. Thanks Grandma McPheters!

I think Daddy is having more fun

It looks like Daddy is having more fun with J's race track, he got for his birthday, than J.

This time it worked

When I put H's hair in curlers I never know how it is going to turn out in the morning when I try and work with it and make it cuter. This time it worked, I think her hair turned out so cute this time. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's cuter in person.

Pout Pout Stick Your Little Lip Out!

A couple of days ago J was pouting with his bottom lip out and I told him that if he kept his lip out a bird was going to come and poop on it. He stopped and looked all around. I asked him what he was doing. He said "Where's the poop!" It was so hilarious!!!

J had so much fun going to the movie with Grammy & Gramps. He told us all about it. Thank you for that. We love you both!

Merry Christmas

We all had a wonderful Christmas. We were at Grammy and Gramps in the afternoon and evening. It's great to spend holidays with the ones you love.

Let it Snow!

This year has been great for the kids to play in the snow and they love it.

Couldn't Be More Thrilled

At least they are not crying.

When You Gotta Go, You Gotta Go!

When H got up this morning she needed to go to the bathroom, I guess really bad, she got ready and sat down and started to go, but she forgot one detail…to put the toilet lid up! She looked at me with a look on her face like, "What just happened!" So needless to say she got a bath this morning instead of tonight That reminds me a certain cousin, and you know who you are.

Thanksgiving Thanks

We had fun playing guitar!

We had fun just being together!

We had fun playing cowboy & cowgirl on a tiger, instead of a horse!

We ate lots!

We were very greatful that our McPheters family was able to come visit us and spend Thanksgiving with us. We had lots of fun! The kids had different people to play with besides Mommy and Daddy. Everyone was excited to see everyone else. We were sad to see them leave but hopefully we get to see them again soon.

Before

So here is a picture of before her hair was cut. Looking at the pictures it might be hard to see a difference, but cut probably 3-4 inches off.

I Finally Got the Courage

I finally got brave enough to actually cut H's hair. It's cute on her though and I am glad that her hair kept some curl to it. When I was cutting her bangs she said that she wanted me to cut the rest of her hair and have short hair. So I did!

What a Wonderful Husband

Yesterday my dear husband stayed home with all three kids so that I could go grocery shopping. While I was gone he read books and played with them and had them sitting down eating lunch when I got home. Then a little bit later after he had ventured off to the working world, after I had put the groceries away, got the kids down for nap and rests, got chicken prepared and in the stove to cook (and somewhere in there I had some lunch), I went to start the laundry and discovered that he had sorted and started the laundry. What a wonderful husband I have! I love him! I am so blessed!

Brad Has Done It!!

Brad has physical proof that he has finished what he has been working towards for the last few years, it actually seems like forever. What an accomplishment. Way to go to!!!

The Cute Things Kids Say!

So yesterday Brad put the ladder up to the roof and was climbing up to clean out the gutters. As he got almost to the top of the roof H said to him "Be careful Daddy! Don't fall off like you did yesterday!" (It wasn't actually yesterday it was in April that he did, but they remember and are looking out for him.)

Then this morning I was helping H get dressed and she gave me a great big hug and told me "I love you Mommy, you are the best Mommy in the whole world!" It's those moments that make it all worth it, and make you forget those moments that you want to forget.

Slowly but surely

So, I have finally set a blog up. I love reading about how others are doing, so I figured others might like to do the same about us.
